A "friendly" staff is among the highlights at this "restored", "grand" "historic" hotel where the "beautiful, old-fashioned lobby" gives way to "spacious" rooms with "plush" beds (and WiFi, though some call the connection "poor"); if the surrounding area is "kind of desolate", at least it's "walking distance from the Sovereign Arena"; N.B. for on-site eats, there's an upscale Italian restaurant and a more relaxed tavern.

The cleanliness of the hotel was wonderful.

The customer service was below par.

Overall, this hotel was lovely and exceptionally clean. I was disappointed with the customer service. After being on the road for 12 hours, the last 2 hours of the drive being near blizzard conditions, we checked in at midnight. I asked the front desk where I could get milk for my toddler to get her settled down after this horrible trip - he was not accommodating. The staff was friendly and efficient. The rooms were big and great.

I had to pay $6 a day for parking.

The rooms were roomy, classic elegant. Also they were clean and the employees were very accommodating from the management, wait staff, front desk, and cleaners.

It is a beautiful hotel with gracious public spaces.

The vending machine on my floor was sold out the whole time I was there.

The hotel is in an excellent location for the Miller Performing Arts Center, but the neighborhood is not the best. Walking home from the concert, I did not feel really safe.
